SIIIII AT NECRODANSE, BELFAST, 19th April 07
The band are currently reheasing for their next gig at Necrodanse, The Bunker, Lavery's, Belfast on Thursday 19th April 2007. Many thanks to Aidan for his sterling promotional skills and for being a top bloke. Following this they will be going back into the studio, recording the first of a series of E.P.'s for release later in the year. New photos are also in the pipeline.

SIIIII AT DROP DEAD IV, NEW YORK, 1st September 06
Siiiii performed an exclusive US show on the first night of last year's Drop Dead Festival at The Knitting Factory, New York City. This was the first time they played in front of a live audience for more than two decades. Along with fellow re-formed UK band Ausgang and more contemporary stars such as Bell Hollow, Holy Cow, Autonervous and the absolutely mental Din Glorious, they helped make Drop Dead IV the best yet.
Siiiiii were born in early 1983 when singer Paul, then only 19, moved from his native East Anglia to Sheffield purely to be in the band, joining guitarist Mark and bassist Angie. Taking their name from William Burroughs' "The Soft Machine" they gigged extensively during the early to mid 1980's and possibly hold the record for the amount of times they were nearly signed to record labels. Siiiiii disbanded in 1986 and the members went their separate ways. Mark went on to play in the Anti-Group and Paul became involved in The Niceville Tampa (now Niceville) and later with DVO in South Wales. In 2005 having been "rediscovered" following a chance meeting of emails between Paul and Mick Mercer, the band are back writing some incredible new material and cleaning up the analogue tracks from those early years. . A new generation awaits them. Wonderful things shall occur.
Siiiii's first album, "Ancient", is a collection of archive songs from the early 1980's, and is available to buy via Paypal for £10.00 GBP from the "Ancient Order Page" on this site. Certain retail outlets are also stocking it, so please ask your local independant store.
Secondly, a series of limited edition E.P's will be released... and then... who knows??
Both "Ancient" and all further work will be released on Siiiii's own King Sol label.
